Carburetor numbers on most military Holley carburetors are located on a riveted tag, and may also be stamped on the carburetor body. Details on finding Holley carb numbers, called LIST numbers, are here. Zenith carbs have round tags on the top of the carburetor. Details on Zenith numbers are here. Stromberg carburetors are usualy stamped. Carter and Rochester carbs generally had tags, held on with a screw. These are often missing, so identification may have to be visual.
