The Zenith model 33 was a single bore downdraft carburetor of all aluminum construction that was manufactured from 1978 to 2025. It was produced in a number of versions with manual or automatic chokes, with or without accelerator pumps, and electronic throttle actuator stepper motors in some applications (such as manlifts). The carburetor was used on a large number of industrial applications from 30 to 140 CID, notably Ford industrial motors, such as the Kent engine series and LRG423 (2.3L). The carburetor had a Zenith size 8 bore size (SAE nominal size 1", actual sizes 0.865" and 1.181").
