The Holley model 2300 is the 'modular' Holley 2 barrel that first appeared in 1957 and was used on most makes at one time or another after that. It replaced the earlier 'concentric' Holley carbs. These carbs use a special flange with 3.46 x 5.16 inch bolt centers. Ford 2 barrel carbs shared this flange and many Ford engines used Holley 2300 or Ford carbs more or less interchangeably depending on the exact application.
