The Holley model 2300 is the 'modular' Holley 2 barrel that first appeared in 1957 and was used on most makes at one time or another after that. It replaced the earlier 'concentric' Holley carbs. These carbs use a special flange with 3.46 x 5.16 inch bolt centers. Ford 2 barrel carbs shared this flange and many Ford engines used Holley 2300 or Ford carbs more or less interchangeably depending on the exact application.
Carburetor numbers are stamped on the front of the choke tower. Holley 2300s on Ford applications usually have a tag with a Ford part number as well. How to find Holley carburetor list numbers
