The Ford model 2150 was similar to the model 2100, with the addition of an external choke pull off. It was used from 1974 to 1992 on Ford, AMC and Jeep. Some late models were feedback carburetors which incorporated a throttle position sensor and air bleed (mixture control) solenoid. There were also high-altitude versions that used a large aneroid assembly on the back of the carburetor to lean the mixture for high altitude operation.

Ford carburetors are generally identified by the number on a metal tag. The carbs are variously marked as Ford, Autolite or Motorcraft depending on the year of manufacture. Model 2100 carburetors were also stamped with part of the carb number on the edge of the base, near the front on the throttle body.

Ford tags and stamps are discussed here.

Ford 2150 carburetors are marked with the venturi area in inches cast into the driver's side of the float bowl. These range from about 1.08 to about 1.21 square inches. A common size on 302 V8's was 1.02, whereas a 400M engine would use a 1.21 sq in venturi.
