The Ford model 1250 carburetor was made by Ford in Sweden. It is similar in design to the model 1100. Model 1100 carbs were used on European Fords, as well as on some early Ford Pintos, Bobcats and industrial engines, notably Ford Kent engines in Bombardier snow machines.
Ford carburetors are generally identified by the number on a small metal tag. The carbs are variously marked as Ford, Autolite or Motorcraft depending on the year of manufacture. Model 1250 carbs were also stamped on the side of the float bowl with the carburetor number.
