Round tags like this have the date on the line with the rivet in the middle, and the carburetor number on the last line:

  1. Model: TSX
  2. Build date: 57/11 (November, 1957)
  3. Carb number: 616 (TSX616)
 
Typical square tag on a TSX carburetor

Square tags like this have the full carb number on the first line and the build date on the second:

  1. Carb number: TSX515
  2. Build date: 2/55 (February, 1955)

Some TSX carbs don't have a tag. If there is no carb number, you can still find a basic kit from measurements.
