This kit services the Mercruiser Mercarb 2 barrel marine carburetor version with a straight stem accelerator pump. The Mercarb is made by Nikki (Japan) and is based on the design of the Rochester 2G carb. Externally, they can be distinguished from Rochesters by having only one idle mixture screw in the center of the front of the throttle body (the Rochester has two idle mixture screws).
This is marine-grade rebuild kit with all ethanol-safe components including the straight stem pump assembly, all gaskets including mounting gasket, needle/seat, power valve, idle mixture screw, fuel inlet strainer, complete printed instructions and all other parts shown. Made in USA. Replaces Mercarb kit # 3302-804845.
