Holley 2140-4000 1955-1957 Ford, Lincoln Teapot Carburetor Master Kit ck7010

This is a premium quality made-in-USA Holley 2140/4000 'teapot' carburetor repair kit which includes:

• Ethanol-resistant Viton accelerator pump cup
• Both styles of needle/seat that were used interchangeably in production (threaded-in and o-ring retained types)
• Correct material for float bowl seal
• Secondary diaphragm
• Idle mixture screws and springs
• Power valve actuator
• Spark delay valve for Load-O-Matic distributors
• Accelerator pump discharge check valve needle
• Float bumper spring
• Correct fuel tube seals and gaskets for both early (1955) and later (1956-up) types
• Correct flange, air cleaner and internal gaskets

Jobber-grade kits available elsewhere have serious problems that make a successful rebuild very difficult. Cheap kits have a rubber seal, instead of the OEM felt, making assembly of the float bowl onto the choke housing nearly impossible. Also, the o-rings and retainer rings are mostly the wrong size, the pressed-in fuel inlet seat isn't included and the gaskets are cut incorrectly.
