Carter WCD 1947-1954 Pontiac 8 Cylinder Carburetor Kit ck4821

Premium carburetor kit with modern components for Carter WCD carburetors used on Pontiac 6 and 8 cylinder engines from 1947 to 1954. This kit features a Viton accelerator to replaces the old style leather pump, as well as an improved design Viton disc-type fuel inlet valve instead of the early steel needle/seat. Viton is a tough, chemically resistant rubber material that stands up to ethanol and doesn't dry out in storage. The new disc valve handles dirt and other contaminants better than the old needle/seats, and has a larger surface for better, more reliable sealing.

Other premium features not found in other brands of kits are the pump return spring, idle mixture screws, pump discharge check needle and full printed instructions. No need to search online for instructions to download.
