Genuine Zenith # 14996 carburetor.
This is an original made-in-USA carburetor produced by Zenith Fuel Systems of Virginia. Before Zenith went out of production in late 2025, we stocked up on these premium quality carburetors and currently have a limited supply left.
This model 267X9 is a service replacement unit for many original equipment model 267 updrafts, as well as other Zenith models and Marvel-Schebler TSX carburetors. You can refer to our list of TSX service carburetors here.
The 14996 has a 2-11/16" center-to-center spacing on the mounting studs or bolts. It is fitted with a univeral throttle shaft that extends out both sides, so the throttle can be connected on either side as needed. There is an adjustable main jet for tuning the load mixture on variety of applications. The castings are zinc for the float bowl and aluminum for the throttle body. Both are cast in the United States. Service parts such as kits and floats are available on our website: the genuine Zenith kit is CK9945 and the float is F9067.
